These are the greatest drummers in my opinion, and my opinion does not have to be shared by anyone else. It will also not have any specific ranking or order. That would be sacrilegious. I know some drummers are conspicuous by their absence, but it could not be helped. There are simply too many legends in too many genres.
Gene Krupa
Gene Krupa can be called one of the creators of what drumming is now. In fact, he is credited with many developments in the drum kit itself. He is believed by many jazz historians to have made history as the first drummer that recorded using a pedal for the bass drum. He invented the rim shot on the snare drum as well. His flamboyance [...]

These magicians are truly among the best, and more than one of them is capable of winning an entire match on their own. In the more cricket crazy nations, a debate in the nature of ‘who are the greatest test batsmen’ could spark off differences that could easily escalate into a war of words and even fists. A matter many people feel so passionate and strongly about, a list of the Top 10 batsmen is something very personal and subjective, and differs according to person to person.
Comparisons made by numbers do not incorporate additional factors. For once, the conditions of playing the game have changed since the days of Brian Close. The staggering differences between batsmen to batsmen are another aspect that complicates things further. But tried I have, and this list is the result.
1 Sir Garfield Sobers
Sir Garfield represented West Indies, played 93 tests in total. His average was close to 58, and centuries [...]
